CPC31011 Certificate III in Solid Plastering

Solid plastering is the application of a thin premixed surface of sand, cement and lime plaster to brick or concrete.

It is often textured, coloured or painted after application. It is used on exterior walls but can be used to do interior walls as well.

- Participants must hold a current Construction Induction (White) Card

a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry

Process to get certificate

Our process for attaining your certification for this trade is fast and simple.

Trainers:

Licensed, qualified and experienced trainers who are working in the industry.

Entry Requirments:

  • IDs:
    • Collect 100 points of ID:
    • Drivers license (40 points)
    • Student ID card with photo from Aus. Institute (40 points)
    • Passport (70 points)
    • Birth certificate (70 points)
    • Key card (25 points)
    • Medicare card (25 points)
  • Evidence (just bring what you have):
    • Letters of current and past employment
    • Apprenticeship papers
    • Résumé
    • 2x reference letters from licensed tradies you have worked with
    • Overseas qualifications (if applicable)
    • Transcripts/assessments from previous qualifications related to this course
    • Statement of Attainments (partially completed certificates and transcripts)
    • Work examples/samples/photos/videos
  • Assessment:
    • You have the choice of being assessed either online or face to face.
    • Face to face applicant will have a conversation with our assessors covering questions for each unit.
    • For gap training, application will need to complete theory or practical assessments as requirement.
    • To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in:

      20 units of competency:
      • 15 core units
      • 5 elective units.

Apply for your plastering licence

After collecting your certificate and transcript from OTTC, you will need to attend to Fair Trading office or your state regulators office and submit a licence application.
